L'Dor Va'Dor Legacy Society

The L’Dor Va’Dor Legacy Society was established to honor individuals who have chosen to benefit Temple Beth-El in their estate plans, and thereby to encourage others to do the same.

Including Temple Beth-El in your Estate Plans

What is the legacy that we will leave future generations?

We are committed to ensuring that Temple Beth-El of Ithaca will continue to thrive and provide opportunities for prayer, spiritual life, Jewish education and communal life for generations to come.

We can all make this commitment, and be part of this legacy, regardless of age or wealth.  Making a legacy commitment to Temple Beth-El will express your commitment to pass on the Jewish tradition L’Dor Va’Dor, from generation to generation, to your children and grandchildren.

L’Dor Va’Dor  Legacy Society honors those who have made a commitment to include Temple Beth-El in their estate plans.   Bequests can be made for general operations or to any of Temple Beth-El’s funds, with the Endowment Fund being especially in the spirit of L’Dor Va’Dor.

Please support our vibrant spiritual community by including a bequest to Temple Beth-El in your will, or in another way in your estate plan.

Please let Joy Blumkin (joyblumkin@aol.com) know if you have named Temple Beth-El as a beneficiary in your will or estate plan so that we may formally honor your generosity.  We hope that publicizing a growing list of L’Dor Va’Dor Legacy Society members will encourage others also to include Temple Beth-El in their estate plans.

We are happy to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.  Of course, we recommend that you consult with your personal financial advisor, accountant or attorney in considering any changes in your estate plan to make sure that they are right for you.  We will be happy to work with your advisors as well.
